Kitties & Digital Camera Purchase

I finally decided on the digital camera I wanted for my birthday. I ordered a Panasonic FZ20, which is supposed to be one of the best ultra zoom cameras on the market. I was quite surprised since I was originally interested in Canon cameras, and had heard from a couple of sources that they are the best. Unfortunately, the latest Canon ultra zoom camera just does not stand up next to the Panasonic. While recently, a newer version of the camera I ordered has been released (the FZ30), it has receieved less than stellar reviews. I figured this was a good starting point.

If you're interested in a digital camera, you may want to check out these very helpful websites:

I would also check out the Consumer Reports website. They do often have free thirty day trials to use the website, so check out a Consumer Report magazine for details. Fortunately, Consumer Reports did recommend the FZ20, as well, so they only confirmed my purchase.

And onto the kitty photos:

Unfortunately, I don't know how to work my camera very well, and I'm sure the photos show. My camera has the ability to be fully manual, and fully automatic, and right now, I'm just using the automatic modes until I learn more about the rest. However, these photos at least serve their purpose - to show our cute kitties. Enjoy!
