Tired, Very Tired

So, I started school this week. This is the first time I'm going full-time to college. All the other semesters I've taken 1-3 classes. I miss my afternoon naps, I must admit, and although this is the first week of school, my brain is already starting to work harder than usual. It just goes to show how much of a bum I have been this summer.

So, we adopted another kitty so our new kitty could have a playmate. That's it. Two is enough. Especially since the most recent kitten came with a free case of ringworm. Lovely! After being boarded for a week and doses of anti-fungal medication and cream, it seems she's doing great. All except for pissing on my bed a few days ago. So, to the vet. she went and she's got a urinary tract infection. Poor girl. I do feel bad for her, but I must admit I was a little annoyed to wake-up after I rolled into something wet. I hope this will be the end of her health-related issues for a while.

I really enjoy my classes already. Spanish seems like it's going to be difficult, but I'm looking forward to it. My World Lit. class is enjoyable, although literature isn't my favorite subject in the world. My Social Work and Cinema classes seem to be right up my alley. Two days in and already I find the lectures and discussions very interesting and informative. I hope that my outlook on school will stay optimistic until I graduate. It's so hard going to school when you hate it.

Our new roommate got settled in, and he is a pretty good guy. He's going to UTC right now, but the lucky duck got all his classes scheduled on two days a week. I envy him! I hope he is enjoying his time in Chattanooga and doesn't find our nutty household to be too lame.

Our old roommate is still driving me insane. Go figure. I think this has been a good lesson in never mixing friends with business.
