A Whole Bunch o'Nothing
So, we're moving tomorrow and I'm pretty excited. I went and picked-up my new sofa yesterday from Dawsonville, GA, and my bedroom furniture arrives tomorrow afternoon at our new place. I can't wait to see it all set-up and ready for use.
My grandmother and my little sister are visiting. They've been here since Tuesday, and my grandmother will leave on Saturday, my little sister will leave next Friday. I've had a great time with them, so far, and I'm glad that they were both able to come here to help us with the move.
I'm still sort of looking for a part-time job. I had an offer from a bank, but declined because I wasn't satisfied with the hours and the location. Since I don't have to get another part-time job, then I'm just taking my time so I can find the perfect job for me. I did go on an interview last week to work at a doctor's office and would be satisfied with that specific job. I am supposed to hear something today or tomorrow regarding that.
Yesterday, I had a headache straight from hell and today it lingers but, luckily, it's not as bad. This morning, I read the Asher's Update Blog, and after whining about my headache for the past day, I realized that my headache was nothing compared to the pain and suffering that the Mendosa family is going through, and the pain Asher will go through when he regains conciousness. I am relieved to know that, for the time being, he is doing alright.
I'm still thinking of adopting a kitty, but I think I've settled on a siamese. I am still interested in going through a shelter or rescue group, so the possibility of finding a siamese kitty at one of those facilities is a little slim, or at best, certainly limits my options. I am currently speaking with a rescue organization - The Siamese Rescue Center, and they've been a big help, so far. If you're interested in adopting your own kitten or cat, especially of the siamese variety, contact them!
