Kittens and Cat - Need Help w/Foster or Adopt - Please!

I need help with some kittens and Mom cat I recently found. They have all been living in my bathroom for the past month or so because the Mom cat is very protective and I have two cats of my own whom she terrorizes if she comes in contact with. The kittens are almost ready to find homes and will need to find permanent housing or move to another foster's home by August 14th. I live in an apartment with a 2 pet policy and as mentioned, I have two cats of my own which prohibits me from keeping this kittens/cat. These kittens are well-socialized (we play and snuggle with them daily while we lock-up my own furbabies), and very adorable.

I have:

1. A medium-haired tabby female kitten who just loves to play. Very spunky, but has come to enjoy snuggling a bit more than previously.

2. A medium-haired tabby male with a white patch on his ruff. He has a big adorable face and loves to cuddle and play, too.

3. A medium-haired black female with a couple of small white spots on her underside. She loves to snuggle more than she loves to play, and seems to be the less-dominating of all the kittens.

4. The Mom cat is a medium-length black haired with yellow-green eyes. She is a REAL snugglebug and is just happy laying near you, laying on, and being around you. She is very protective of her kittens at this time but I feel that if they weren't around she would get along with other cats just fine.

They should all be spayed/neutered by the time I adopt them out. Wally's Friends has offered to help me with the spay/neuters of the kittens and I plan to spay the Mom cat out of my pocket. Their combo. test came back negative and the Mom has been wormed. I haven't noticed any worms from the kittens. They are very hearty, healthy and playful!

Please help me with taking these kittens to find homes. I really need help as I can't continue to keep them here with our stringent apartment policy.

Seven Months

It's been a while. So long, in fact, I forgot just why I stopped blogging. Perhaps, I was just bored with the whole thing. I have done a little blogging on MySpace, and that's basically just because I'm lazy and it's easy to do because I'm already signed-in to message friends and whatnot.

So, in approx. 7 months, I'll transition from fiance to housewife. The fiance and I have been together over 9 years now, and we've talked about getting married for at least 5 of those years. This time, however, we're really taking the plunge - deposits, dress, preacher and all. I'm not at all nervous (but maybe that doesn't usually hit someone until a little closer to the ceremony date?), but I have been a little lazy when it comes to wedding planning. For an example, I haven't spoken with a florist or a cake baker/decorator. I know there are some brides who have all of these details sorted out 12 months in advance, but I'm just not one of them. I have school, but I can't say I'm too busy; I think my lack of planning stems from several factors: Mom and Grandma too far away to do the traditional Mom/Daughter/Grandma planning, laziness, unknowledgeable of services in the Chattanooga area and too preoccupied with other things (homework and geekery) to find out about florists, cake decorators and other such business. OH, and then there's this thing - I am, by nature, a procrastinator.

On the flip-side, I am meeting with the hair-stylist and make-up artist (sounds so "Hollywood") tomorrow, and the minister later on this week. I have secured the venue (along with the catering) and wedding coordinator. I'm not entirely unprepared for this wedding.

So, things are changing. In 7 months I'll be married, in 12 months I'll graduate college, and I think, then, I'll be a full-fledged adult. Or, at least feel like one. All in all, life is really, really good.

Weight-Loss Buddy

I've lost some weight over the past 6 months or so, but I'm still no where near my goal. I'm looking for a female weight-loss buddy that may want to get together a few times a week for a workout, do some e-mail exchange, and just provide/receive some general support. Need a Desk

I need a desk. I don't want to spend a fortune on one, so it doesn't have to be solid mahogany or whatever. It'd be nice if it was functional and good-looking, but I realize that with my limited budget, that may not be possible. So! If you have a used desk, or know where to get cool desks, hook me up with some pictures, a note, or some links.
